Gastric Revisions

Gastric bypass is a common weight loss surgery that involves the creation of a small “pouch” in the stomach, which is connected directly to the small intestine. Over time, the pouch, and its connection point to the intestine (called the
“outlet”) can get larger. The result is the ability to eat larger portions, leading to weight gain. Most gastric bypass patients will eventually regain 30% of the weight they lost. But more than 1 in 5 patients will regain full weight.
